Tolerant Insert Block

The insert block (tolerant block) has five sealing faces that are displaced during the sealing process. This ensures perfect sealing along the cable or pipe.

Due to the unique five sealing faces the block has a cable acceptance range of 4mm without need of site modification. This acceptance range is sufficient to accommodate deviations found in cable tolerances.

Installation Speed

On a major installation many hundreds of insert blocks are used. As no modification of the Hawke Transit System insert block is required the system is fast and easy to install and eliminates installer modification errors.

Colour Coding and Inspectability

The insert blocks are marked at each end with the cable acceptance range. They are also colour coded identifying the cable acceptance of the block.

In certain site conditions the general environment and lighting can make the selection of the correct blocks difficult. The Hawke Transit System tolerant block colour coding assists the installer, speeding up installation and ensuring that the two correct halves are selected for each cable.

After installation the colour coding allows the inspector to clearly identify that the blocks have been correctly sized for the cable. Without colour coding it is impossible to inspect that the system has been installed correctly.

Design Service

Hawke Transit System offer a free of charge design service, producing a system drawing and parts list for the client.

Alternatively a copy of this design programme is available on request to enable the client to carry out their own design

    Kitting Service

A kitting service is available where all of the components to be fitted into each frame aperture can be kitted and identified, simplifying site installation.

    Operating Temperature

The operating temperature for the Hawke Transit System, using all standard materials is:

–       60C to +110C.
